Data we collect

Contact enquiries may include your name, email, preferred audit type, intended submission date, and message content. Commissioned audits may include application documents you upload, which can contain educational history, employment history, and referee details.

Purposes

We process data to respond to enquiries, perform agreed audits, issue reports, manage scheduling, meet legal obligations, and—only if you accept analytics cookies—understand which pages are useful.

Retention

Enquiry messages are retained up to 24 months. Audit file packs and reports are retained up to 36 months after engagement close unless you request earlier deletion and no legal hold applies. Financial records are kept as required under Japanese bookkeeping rules.

Your rights

Subject to applicable Japanese law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data, and you may object to certain processing. Contact hello@dataedgesolutions.digital to exercise these rights. You may also lodge a complaint with the Personal Information Protection Commission of Japan.

International transfers

Our primary processing occurs in Japan. If a processor outside Japan is used (for example email hosting), we take contractual and organisational steps appropriate to the destination and the sensitivity of application materials.
