Cookies
This page describes cookies used on our site and how you can accept or reject optional cookies. Related processing is summarised in our privacy notice.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They can be essential for basic operation or used to understand how pages are used.
Types we use
Essential cookies remember your cookie preference so the banner does not reappear on every visit. Analytics cookies load only if you accept; they help us see which guides about application audits are read most often. Rejecting analytics does not block reading pages, requesting audits, or using the contact form.
Cookie table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| dataedge_cookie_consent | Stores Accept or Reject choice for the cookie banner | 1 year (localStorage) | Data Edge Audit Services |
| _dea_analytics | Anonymous page-view counts when analytics are accepted | 6 months | Data Edge Audit Services |
Managing cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. To change a prior choice, clear site data for dataedgesolutions.digital in your browser, then reload and select again. You can also block cookies in browser settings; essential preference storage may then be unavailable and the banner may reappear.
Third-party cookies
Embedded fonts may be requested from Google Fonts. That request can expose your IP address to Google. We do not embed advertising cookies. If we later add a third-party analytics vendor, this table will be updated before activation.
Impact of disabling
Disabling optional analytics does not remove access to rates, process notes, or the contact form. Disabling all site storage may prevent us from remembering your rejection and may show the banner again.
